Dam construction projects are large-scale construction projects characterized by a high level of complexity, making them prone to the risk of project completion delays. Project delays can increase project costs and delay the utilization of the dam for public benefit. The objective of this study is to analyze project acceleration alternatives to minimize the risk of delays through the application of the Critical Path Method (CPM) to identify critical paths and the Crashing method by adding working hours. This study was conducted at the Karangnongko Dam Construction Project Package II, where the identified critical activities include right access road pavement works, right irrigation intake structure, dam body construction, and dam crest pavement works, with a total duration of 1.022 days for these activities. After applying crashing analysis with an additional 2 working hours, the project duration was reduced to 955 days, indicating a time acceleration of 6,56% compared to the original schedule. This acceleration resulted in a cost increase of 0.82%, bringing the total project cost after acceleration to IDR 214.867.347.503,39. Based on the increase in cost, the acceleration effort is considered feasible as an alternative to mitigate the risk of project delays
