Abstract

(BIM) Building Information Modeling is an innovative technology of the Industry 4.0 era that supports the planning, design, and coordination processes of construction projects in a more effective and integrated manner. Autodesk Revit, as a BIM-based software, enables parametric and consistent modeling of building structures, making it widely used for multi-story building projects. This study aims to apply BIM concepts in modeling the structural system of the Muhammadiyah Darul Istiqomah Kendal Hospital Building using Autodesk Revit 2025 based on Detail Engineering Design (DED) documents. The modeling focuses on major structural elements, including bore pile foundations, columns, beams, floor slabs, and stair structures, through stages such as setting grids and levels, creating structural families, and developing a complete 3D model.. The results show that the generated 3D structural model accurately represents the actual design, enhances visualization, and improves accuracy and consistency compared to conventional 2D drawing methods. Furthermore, BIM-based modeling using Revit effectively supports technical coordination and structural documentation, making it a reliable approach for structural modeling in multi-story hospital building projects.
