Dilema Perantau dan Tragedi Kepulangan Tertunda: Analisis Konflik Simmelian pada Lirik Lagu "Sesi Potret" Karya Eńau feat. Ari Lesmana

This study aims to analyze the representation of the inner conflict of nomads in the lyrics of the song "Session Potret" by eńau feat. Ari Lesmana and explores how the sociocultural dimension of the homecoming tradition functions as a source of tension that triggers the conflict. Meanwhile, the material object of the research is the lyric text of the song "Session Potret" which was released on January 30, 2026, while the formal object is Georg Simmel's Social Conflict Theory. The research uses a qualitative approach with sociological hermeneutic methods. Textual data in the form of words, phrases, and clauses are analyzed through the stages of data reduction, dialectical analysis, and critical interpretation with Simmel's framework. The results of the analysis show that the internal conflict of nomads is articulated through four Simmelian axes: (1) Cultural Tragedy, which is the clash between expectations of material success and economic limitations; (2) Psychological Impulses, in the form of prestige that postpones return and leads to existential regret; (3) Compromise Limits, where the death of parents becomes an absolute limit that thwarts reconciliation; and (4) Transformation of Social Relations Forms, which is symbolized through the disruption of the arrangement of family photographs. This study concludes that the song "Portrait Session" is not just a personal expression, but a cultural text that documents the collective emotional catharsis of the sociocultural complexity of overseas traditions in Indonesia
