Desain Pengembangan Infrastruktur Pelabuhan Pomako Papua sebagai Upaya Mewujudkan Ekonomi Biru

Abstract

Blue economy has become a new paradigm of economical development. Nevertheless, it is unfortunately that implementation of blue economics concept has not been able to be implemented fully in Indonesian maritime world. Port that should be one of media in achieving maritimie economics success, has not been succesfully made blue economics come true in making maritime people live welfare. This problem happen to Pomako Port, Timika, Papua. Some infrastructure in Pomako make this port can not bear blue economics for Timika people. It must be solved by designing planned port space management and involving government, investor, and society. This research is made by using data collecting method of literature study. Analyzing method used is reduction, organizing, and interpretating. This method should be used as basic to solve solution of infrastruture in Pomako Port. According to some infrastructure problem such as length and shape of port, lack of supporting infrastructure, also using of Pomako ineffectively and inefficiently to build Pomako people economics, so Researcher suggests and recommends a grand design of infrastructure of Pomako Port. This design will maximize the using of Pomako Port to ease economics activity by effectiving port operational and building the supporting infrastructure like Fish Selling Center, Ice Manufacturing, Crabs Developing Center, etc. This design should be implemented by government to make blue economics which can make Pomako people welfare. This design is also hope to be national port infrastructure model to make maritime economics stronger.
