Analisis Kebutuhan Air Irigasi Sawah Tadah Hujan Desa Jembangan, Kecamatan Poncowarno, Kabupaten Kebumen

Abstract

Jembangan Village is one of the villages in the Poncowarno District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province, the rice fields in Jembangan Village are rainfed land, so that during the second planting season, to find out the actual irrigation water needs in the rice fields through direct measurements in the field, using a pump. water, which the water pump is expected to meet the water needs of agricultural land in the second growing season. In this study, the researchers used the Modified Penman method by using climatological data to determine the water needs for plants, then recaping the rainfall data to determine the mainstay rain and effective rain for plants, and using a water pump to meet the irrigation needs of rainfed rice fields. From the analysis of the demand for irrigation water based on the calculation of the need for pumps, it was found that the number of pumps needed to meet the needs of irrigation water during the rice growing season, MT I required 2 pumps, MT II required 6 units of pumps, MT III required as many as 6 units of pumps. 12 units. Water Pump Operational Costs, Calculation of operating costs for water pumps that are operated for 6 units of water pumps 2 times a week for 13 hours on MT II between February – June requires 15,674 liters of diesel fuel/hour where every 1 liter of diesel is Rp 5,150 ,00 so that in one day it costs Rp 1,049,374.00. So the total operational cost required during the second rice planting season for 14 weeks is Rp. 29,382,472.00.
