This study aims to improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years at TK Muslimat NU 25 At-Taqwa Jatinegara. The achievement of cognitive development in children has not been maximized, as evidenced from early studies, there are 15 out of 20 children's ability to recognize geometric shapes have not reached the Standard Level of Achievement of Child Development. This research is a type of classroom action research that uses the Kemmis and Taggart models through the stages of planning, implementing and reflecting observation. The research process is carried out in the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The subjects of this study were children aged 4-5 years, totaling 20 children. This study uses quantitative description data. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that learning video media can improve children's ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years.
