Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menggunting Dengan Media Video Demonstrasi Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun

The background of this research is to find out the cutting skills of children using demonstration video media. The purpose of this study was to improve cutting skills using demonstration video media for children aged 4-5 years in RA Darussalam Wotbuwono, Klirong District, Kebumen Regency. This type of research is classroom action research with demonstration video media. In its implementation, this classroom action research uses the Spiral research model from Kemmis and Taggart. Cycle I was carried out in two meetings and cycle II was carried out in two meetings and had achieved indicators of success.
The subjects in this study were children aged 4-5 years as many as 15 children consisting of 9 boys and 6 girls. Methods of data collection is done through observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively and quantitatively. The results of the study concluded that the improvement of cutting skills in children was successful with a percentage reaching 93.33% or 14 children from the total number of 15 children.
The development of cutting skills can be seen from the pre-action cycle indicators of 6.67% or 1 child, then the follow-up in the first cycle of the first meeting increased by 20% or 3 children, then in the first cycle of the second meeting increased by 33.33% or 5 children , then the follow-up again in the second cycle of the first meeting increased again by 60% or 9 children, then in the second cycle the second meeting increased again 93.33% or 14 children, which means the cutting skills in children is said to be successful.
