Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning planning of many-sided flat shapes with a STEAM approach based on learning videos. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach that describes logically and systematically about the learning planning of many-sided flat shapes with learning videos. The subjects of this study were sixth grade teachers and principals in elementary schools. The data collected is in the form of descriptive narratives about learning planning for many-sided flat shapes and learning planning documents. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions, and verification. The validity of the data is done by using triangulation of sources and methods. Triangulation of sources is done by checking the results of interviews with teachers and principals of lesson planning. Method triangulation is done by comparing the results of interviews with the results of document observations. The documents on the lesson plans studied were lesson plans or lesson plans, teaching materials, LKPD, learning media, and assessments. The results showed that the STEAM learning carried out by the sixthgrade elementary school teacher had fulfilled the elements of science, technology, engineering, and math, but the art element had not been fulfilled.
