This study aims to tie the skills of meronce using clay materials to children aged 5-6 years at TK Pertiwi 14.24.09 Donorojo, Kecmatan Sempor, Kebumen Regency. This researcher was motivated by the low skills of ronce using clay materials and learning activities using only Children's Worksheets, as evidenced by the results of the initial pre-action with an average percentage of 45, 14%.
This researcher is a type of classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggart model with planning, action and observation, reflection. The research was conducted in 2 cycles at the beginning of the odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The subjects in this study were 12 children aged 5-6 years. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive.
The results of this study indicate that the clay material can improve the skills of meronce. The results of the first cycle 52.78% then increased in the second cycle to 88.19%. Improved meronce skills include children being able to insert ropes into the ocean holes. Based on these results it can be concluded that the clay material can improve the skills of meronce in children aged 5-6 years at TK Pertiwi14.24.09 Donorojo, Sempor District, Kebumen Regency.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mngikatkan keterampilan meronce menggunakan bahan tanah liat pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 14.24.09 Donorojo, Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen. Peneliti ini dilatarbelakang oleh rendahnya keterampilan meronce menggunakan bahan tanah liat serta kegiatan pembelajaran hanya menggunakan Lembar Kerja Anak, dibuktikan hasil pratindakan awal dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 45, 14%.
Peneliti ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis and Taggart dengan perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan 2 Siklus pada awal semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Subyek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 12 anak. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media bahan tanah liat dapat meningkatkan keterampilan meronce. Hasil siklus I 52,78 % kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 88,19%. Peningkatan keterampilan meronce meliputi anak mampu memasukan tali kedalam lubang roncean. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media bahan tanah liat dapat meninkatkan ketrampilan meronce pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi14.24.09 Donorojo Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen.
