Management is a process of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising human resources in the management of educational institutions in order to achieve a goal. In essence, education is a process for developing one's personality into a person with knowledge and character. Therefore, educational management has an important role in improving the quality of human resources in order to build a nation's progress in educational institutions to achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently. In an effort to make a nation smarter, the government always makes optimal efforts to provide guidance and counseling to all communities, especially those who have teaching professions from the early childhood education level to higher education units as well as the community environment so that they always pay attention to the talents and interests of their students. to be able to achieve the main goal of education. This research uses the library study method. The results of this research show that students who can develop their potential abilities, interests and talents will have a superior personality compared to other people, they will be more independent, can complete their work more easily and be able to overcome the problems that befall them. That Talent and Interest is one of the psychological elements of students which determines educational success.
