Abstract

Now teachers are increasingly required to have good mastery of knowledge and adequate teaching skills/pedagogical abilities, especially as prospective PAUD teachers who must at least have the ability to tell stories or communicate well with students. The development of teaching skills, namely telling stories for prospective PAUD teacher students, is the study of this research. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were 25 active students in the 6th semester majoring in PIAUD, the Art of Storytelling course, the teaching program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Analysis techniques involve data reduction and data display, while data collection techniques involve observation and documentation in the form of student written work. The research results show that direct practical activities via zoom meetings with story scripts presented are a solution to improving students' abilities as prospective PAUD teachers in telling stories.
