Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the improvement of children's cognitive abilities through the read aloud method. Read aloud is a learning method by reading a storybook aloud. The research method used is library research. With data sources from books, journals and articles. Data analysis techniques with reduction. The results showed that the read aloud method develops children's cognitive abilities, namely developing curiosity, increasing concentration in children, children learn to solve problems, add new knowledge and develop memory.
