Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan isolat bakteri dari Mangrove Tritih Kulon, Cilacap dan mengetahui kemampuan isolat bakteri tersebut dalam mendegradasi minyak solar. Isolasi dilakukan menggunakan medium SMSS + 2% minyak solar. Diperoleh 8 isolat bakteri yang diduga mampu mendegradasi minyak solar. Skrining terhadap 8 isolat dilakukan dengan metode pewarnaan lugol’s iodine untuk memilih 2 isolat terbaik dalam mendegradasi minyak solar. Identifikasi terhadap ke 2 isolat menggunakan API 20 NE (Biomeriux), diketahui bahwa Isolat F Aeromonas hydrophila dan Isolat H Burkholderia cepacia. Uji biodegradasi minyak solar dilakukan menggunakan isolat tunggal, campuran dan kontrol. Sisa minyak solar hasil uji biodegradasi pada isolat F sebesar 41 %, isolat H sebesar 26 %, campuran (Isolat F + Isolat H) sebesar 38 % dan kontrol (tanpa isolat) sebesar 79 %. Hasil analisis Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) menunjukkan beberapa senyawa minyak solar yang mengalami penurunan konsentrasi. Senyawa-senyawa yang diduga mengalami degradasi pada perlakuan kontrol (hexadecanoic acid, methyl ester dan dodecane), Aeromonas hydrophila (heptadecane dan pentadecane), Burkholderia cepacia (heptadecane dan pentadecane) dan campuran (hexadecanoic acid, methyl ester dan octadecenoic acid, methyl ester).
