Sosialisasi Mari Bangun Sekolah yang Aman dan Penuh Kasih Sayang di SD Negeri Ampelsari, Desa Ampelsari, Kecamatan Petanahan, Kabupaten Kebumen

Abstract

Violence and bullying in elementary schools remain issues that require collective attention, including in Ampelsari Village, Petanahan Sub-district, Kebumen Regency. This community service activity aimed to increase the understanding and awareness of teachers, students, and parents at SD Negeri Ampelsari regarding the importance of building a safe, comfortable, and caring school environment. The activity used an educative and participatory approach consisting of field observation, material preparation, socialization through lectures and discussions, educational games, the production of educational media such as posters and slogans on safe schools, mentoring, and evaluation. The socialization was conducted in two sessions and involved 40 participants consisting of teachers, students, and parents. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding and awareness of violence and bullying prevention, reflected in their active participation in discussions and in the educational posters and slogans produced and displayed at school. This activity is expected to continue through strengthened communication between teachers and parents and the establishment of a school-based violence prevention team, so that a safe and caring school culture can be sustained
