Abstract

Inadequate nutritional intake contributes to stunting among the community in Pingit Village. This community service initiative aims to prevent stunting in Pingit Village, Banjarnegara Regency, through an educational approach. The method employed was the Focus Group Discussion (FGD), a technique involving group dialogue to address specific topics related to stunting prevention. Screening results revealed a range of nutritional statuses among toddlers, spanning from good nutrition to undernutrition, overweight, risk of overweight, and even obesity. Continuous monitoring of child growth is crucial for the early detection of growth disorders. Screening and community education activities have proven highly effective in raising awareness regarding child growth and development, thereby facilitating early stunting prevention in Pingit Village
