Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penyewaan Alat Outdoor Berbasis Web di Napak Tilas Adventure Gombong

Abstract

Napak Tilas Adventure Gombong is a mountain climbing equipment rental service provider that still uses a manual system in terms of recording rental data and conveying information about what equipment can be rented on a certain day. In addition, visitors must also come directly to the store when they want to rent the desired outdoor equipment. This makes the process of renting climbing equipment less practical and efficient. A website-based outdoor equipment rental information system is considered appropriate to provide better service. This study aims to build a website-based information system for outdoor equipment rental at Napak Tilas Adventure Gombong. The development method used in this research is the waterfall method. The system is made using the PHP programming language and uses a MySQL database. After the information system has been created, black box testing is carried out to see the feasibility of the system. This research produces a web-based outdoor equipment rental information system that can be used by user and admin. In addition, based on the results of blackbox testing, it shows that the system has been running well and as expected.
