Pondok Pesantren Manba'ul Ihsan Al-Baedlowi currently manages student attendance through conventional procedures involving attendance books and spreadsheet records. Such practices often lead to inaccurate data, lengthy recapitulation processes, and a greater possibility of data loss or damage. This research aims to develop a web-based student attendance information system capable of managing attendance records in a centralised and organised manner. The application was developed using the Waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. System modelling employed Unified Modelling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams, while the database structure was designed using an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The implementation utilised PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL as the database management system. Functional testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing approach, whereas system evaluation was carried out through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 10 respondents consisting of administrators, staff members, and students' guardians. The evaluation produced an effectiveness score of 88% and a user satisfaction score of 86%, indicating that the system is considered highly effective and highly satisfactory. The developed application can streamline attendance management, reduce recording errors, and generate attendance reports automatically in real time. Therefore, the proposed system contributes to more efficient, accurate, and organised attendance management at Pondok Pesantren Manba'ul Ihsan Al-Baedlowi
