Efektivitas Sistem Pendaftaran Wisuda Berbasis Web dalam Meningkatkan Efisiensi Proses Akademik Mahasiswa UMNU Kebumen

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a web-based graduation registration system in improving the efficiency of academic processes at Ma'arif Nahdlatul Ulama University (UMNU) Kebumen. The conventional system that was previously used was considered inefficient, prone to errors, and slowed down the administrative process. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires involving 100 students and academic staff. Testing results showed that the web-based system reduced processing time from 3 days to less than 1 day, decreased data input errors from 23% to 4%, and improved user satisfaction from 62% to 91%. These findings indicate that the digitalisation of the graduation registration system can significantly improve efficiency, accuracy, and the quality of academic services in a university environment.
