Abstract

Ullaya Mart, is a grocery store located in Mertoyudan District, Magelang Regency. Facing the increasing complexity of managing a team of employees and along with the growth in the number of employees with various educational backgrounds and track records. Realizing the difficulties in selecting the best employees, an alternative solution is implementing a Decision Support System. The main objective of this research is to increase efficiency and effectiveness in improving the quality of determining the best employees. This Decision Support System uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with predetermined criteria and weights. The criteria that guide the assessment include attendance, discipline, attitude, responsibility and performance. The SAW method was chosen because it is factual in selecting the best alternative from a number of available options. This research was carried out by calculating the weight for each attribute, which was then used to rank and determine the best employees objectively
