Edukasi Pencegahan Bullying Sejak Dini melalui Program Misi Teman Baik pada Anak Usia Sekolah di Desa Lerepkebumen

Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools can have negative impacts on students’ social relationships and their sense of comfort and safety in the learning environment. The “Misi Teman Baik” Community Service Program (PKM) was implemented as an effort to provide education on bullying prevention and to foster students’ awareness of building positive peer relationships. The program was conducted at SDN Lerepkebumen, Poncowarno District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java, on August 4, 2026, involving 179 students from grades I to VI. The program employed an educational and interactive approach through PowerPoint-based presentations, educational ice-breaking activities, educational videos, question-and-answer sessions, discussions, reflection activities, and the “Hope Tree” (Pohon Harapan). Evaluation was conducted through observations of student participation as well as question-and-answer sessions and discussions during the activities. The results showed that students actively participated and responded positively throughout the program. Students were able to identify several forms of bullying and mention appropriate actions to maintain positive peer relationships. The reflection activity provided students with an opportunity to consider the importance of respecting their peers’ feelings, while the “Hope Tree” served as a medium for students to express messages and commitments toward positive friendships. The “Misi Teman Baik” program can serve as a preventive educational initiative to strengthen students’ understanding and awareness of bullying prevention and should be supported through continuous reinforcement and positive behavioral practices within the school environment
